Lubrax returns to the Manto Sagrado in a multi-million dollar deal that promises to strengthen Mengão!
The heart of every Flamengo fan is beating stronger with the news echoing from the Deliberative Council. Lubrax, a giant in the lubricants sector and a historic partner, is back on the Flamengo uniform. A three-year agreement has been sealed, bringing financial relief and a reunion of passions that defined an era in Brazilian football. The decision, approved in a meeting last Monday (20), is not only a boost to the coffers but a nod to a glorious past and a firm step toward the future.
A deal that moves passions and pocketbooks
The return of Lubrax represents a minimum of R$ 24.5 million per year for Flamengo, a significant amount that demonstrates the strength of the Vibra brand and its commitment to the club. The prime spot on the upper back of the Rubro-Negro shirt will be occupied by the new logo starting October 1st. This strategic change also includes Hapvida, which migrates to the inside of the jersey numbers, maintaining its presence on the sacred shirt.
More than just a sponsorship, a love story
The relationship between Flamengo and Lubrax dates back to golden times. There were 25 years of uninterrupted partnership between 1984 and 2009, a period during which the brand became synonymous with success alongside unforgettable idols. Now, this successful chapter is being rewritten. Marcelo Bragança, CEO of lubricants at Vibra, highlights the ambition of the new deal: “The goal is to go beyond brand exposure, creating a platform that strengthens connections with the fans and new generations.” The message is clear: Lubrax wants to reconnect with the Rubro-Negro nation in a deep and lasting way.
A sign of market competitiveness
This multi-million dollar contract reinforces Flamengo‘s assertive strategy of seeking partnerships that offer competitive revenue. In an increasingly demanding sports landscape, the ability to attract and retain major sponsors is essential for maintaining excellence both on and off the pitch. The return of Lubrax is not just a financial victory, but an indicator of the strength of the Flamengo brand in the market and the trust that large companies place in the club’s future. The expectation now is to see this new phase shine, just as it did in the days when Lubrax already graced the jersey, pushing Mengão toward new glories.
