Coach Carlos Eduardo Patetuci announced 26 players called up for a training period at Granja Comary, continuing the Brazil U-17 national team’s preparation for the World Cup in Qatar.

The Brazil U-17 national team continues steadfast in its preparation journey for the U-17 World Cup. Coach Carlos Eduardo Patetuci officially announced on Thursday (25) the list of 26 athletes who will report to Granja Comary, in Teresópolis, for the second stage of training in this cycle.

With high spirits after two convincing victories against the United States earlier this month, Brazil aims to fine-tune tactical details and observe new talents. The coaching staff’s full focus is on arriving in November in Qatar with a cohesive group ready for the challenges of Group I.

New Faces at Granja Comary

Patetuci’s call-up brings an important element of renewal. Five players have been called for the first time: Daniel Carvalho, Iago Machado, João Kempes, Raimundo Ykaro, and João França. This opportunity serves to broaden the range of observations in collective activities and game simulations.

“This new training cycle is fundamental for observing the athletes in different situations and consolidating our game model,” emphasized the Brazil national team coach.

Heading Towards the Main Goal

The young athletes will begin their concentration period on July 5, training in the Fluminense state until the 12th. The Granja Comary environment will be the stage where the coach will aim to define the core team that will seek the world title.

The path in the international tournament includes matchups against Ireland, Tanzania, and Costa Rica. The debut, which promises to test the squad’s strength, is scheduled for November 21 against the Irish team. With Spirit, Love, and Passion, Brazil continues to polish its future stars for the major challenge ahead.
