The message insisted that, regardless of the stadium section, those in attendance should wear the home team’s colors, in a clear attempt to discourage the presence of the Nação Rubro-Negra in areas designated for local supporters.

Remo’s stance was promptly questioned by internet users. Many fans pointed out a perceived “selectivity” by the club, noting that such an aggressive tone and the strict demand for access control are not applied with the same intensity when the team faces other high-profile opponents in Brazilian football.

Even with the attempt to create a hostile environment, Flamengo fans demonstrated their usual strength. The allocation of tickets for visiting fans, with prices ranging between R$ 200 and R$ 400, sold out just hours after sales began.
