Flamengo Set to Permanently Sell Lorran to UAE Club
Flamengo is close to finalizing the departure of young forward Lorran. Negotiating with Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates, the 20-year-old player is expected to complete his transfer in the coming days, with only minor details remaining for the contract signing.
Initially, the Asian club showed interest in a loan, but the Rubro-Negro insisted on a permanent sale.
Negotiations Advance for Permanent Sale
After weeks of talks, Lorran‘s departure from Flamengo is progressing. According to specialized club news pages like FlaZoeiro and FlaBase, the agreement between the clubs is well advanced.
Despite training normally at Ninho do Urubu and preparing for his potential exit, the player was not part of coach Leonardo Jardim‘s plans. Lorran returned to the club mid-year after a stint with Pisa in Italy but had few opportunities, playing only three official matches and scoring one goal.

In his professional career with the Rubro-Negro, the attacking midfielder has played 39 games, scoring three goals and providing three assists. At the youth level, Lorran won every possible title, including the Club World Cup, Copa Libertadores, Copa do Brasil, Brazilian Championship, and Campeonato Carioca, in addition to being a champion of the South American U-17 Championship with the Brazil national team.
Arab Market and Future Opportunities
Lorran‘s sale to UAE football comes at a peculiar time, as two other youngsters developed by Flamengo, Yuri César and Guilherme Bala, were called up to represent the UAE national team in the Gulf Cup.
Like Lorran, both had few opportunities in the Rubro-Negro’s main squad. Should the forward excel at Sharjah, he could, in the future, become an option for the local national team.
