CONMEBOL has officially released the schedule for the Libertadores semifinals, confirming the dates for the clashes between Flamengo and Estudiantes with exclusive broadcast rights on cable TV.

The anticipation for the final stretch of the Libertadores has reached a new level this week. CONMEBOL has confirmed the dates and times for the semifinal matches between Flamengo and Estudiantes. Flamengo fans can now mark their calendars, but should be aware: just like in the previous stage, the matches will not be broadcast on free-to-air television.

The Mais Querido will take the field on October 15 and 22, both Thursdays. The first leg will take place on Argentine soil, while the decider for a spot in the grand final will be held under the pressure of the home crowd at the Maracanã. The broadcaster responsible for airing the games will be ESPN, maintaining the same setup as the quarterfinals.

Logistics and the home-field dilemma

The choice of venue for the first leg still faces some uncertainty. Estudiantes is dealing with structural issues at its home ground, Estádio Uno. Due to strict CONMEBOL regulations, the host club is required to provide 4,000 tickets for visiting fans. Since the Argentine stadium has limited capacity for guests, the club is exploring alternatives to avoid having the match relocated to another venue.

Semifinal schedule

For those following the tournament, CONMEBOL has detailed the full schedule for this round. Flamengo faces Estudiantes on October 15 (first leg) and October 22 (second leg), both at 9:30 PM (Brasília Time). On the other side of the bracket, Fluminense and Palmeiras face off on October 14 and 21. Unlike the Mengão game, this all-Brazilian clash will have extensive coverage, including Globo (free-to-air TV), GETV, and Paramount+.

Preparation and focus on the Brazilian Serie A

Before shifting their attention to the dream of winning the Libertadores title, the squad will have a crucial training period during the FIFA international break. The immediate focus remains the Brazilian Serie A, aiming to maintain competitive rhythm.

The Rubro-Negro‘s next commitment is on October 8 against Santos at Vila Belmiro, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM. As usual, full coverage—including pre-match reports, real-time play-by-play, and all the details of the clash—can be found via the M360 Team, which will provide all updates directly from the coast of São Paulo.
