The CBF has made the schedule official for rounds 27 to 30 of the Brazilian Championship, confirming a decisive sequence for Flamengo with three matches to be played at the Maracanã.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) released the official breakdown of rounds 27 to 30 of the Brasileirão on Monday night (31). The announcement brings clarity to Flamengo‘s planning, as the team will have its fans’ support in three of these four commitments, using the Maracanã as an advantage to seek crucial points in the standings.

The period announced by the entity places Rubro-Negro against tough opponents, including a derby against Fluminense. In addition to the favorable home advantage, the period will demand total focus from the coaching staff, as the schedule coincides with important decisions in other competitions.

Detailed Schedule and Broadcasts

The sequence begins on September 13, when Flamengo hosts Corinthians at 5:30 PM. In the following round, on September 20, the challenge is against Bragantino at 6:30 PM. The only away game in this interval will be on October 8, against Santos at Vila Belmiro. The conclusion of this block takes place on October 11, in the Fla-Flu derby, at 5:30 PM. All matches will have extensive coverage on channels such as Globo, SporTV, and Premiere.

Squad Management and Game Marathon

The schedule reflects the complexity of the season. The duel against Corinthians, for example, occurs between two decisive clashes against Independiente Del Valle in the Libertadores. This proximity of dates is expected to force the coach to rotate the squad, preserving the starting players.

Regarding the physical challenge the team will face, the M360 Team highlights that logistics will be a determining factor:

A heavy sequence for Flamengo, with many games on Thursdays: the two Libertadores matches and the encounter with Santos. This means little rest time ahead of the Sunday games. A crucial moment of the season, and the squad will need to rotate well. The reserves will have to maintain a good level.

Keeping an Eye on Competition and Next Steps

The “psychological war” for the top of the table also takes on specific dimensions with the new dates. Flamengo will indirectly measure forces with Palmeiras, alternating game times before, after, and even simultaneously with the São Paulo team, which adds extra pressure in the final rounds of October.

Before starting this sequence, the Rio de Janeiro club maintains its full focus on the short term. Rubro-Negro faces Mirassol this Wednesday (02) in a postponed match, and then travels to face Remo in the 26th round on Sunday (06). Performance in these immediate games will be vital to give the squad breathing room before the intense marathon that follows.
