There was a guy who wanted to take me to Internacional. If I didn’t pass the Athletico evaluation in two weeks, he was going to take me to Inter with a contract and housing. Two weeks passed, and the guy called me: ‘We’re going to Internacional, everything is set, I’ll bring your parents.’ So I had to make a decision very young, at 14 years old.
The Turning Point at Furacão
The bet on continuing with the red-and-black project required resilience. The player was even on the list of players to be released before finding his true place on the field, being moved to center-back at the technical staff’s suggestion. His professional debut occurred in the 2025 Serie B season, marked by a penalty conceded in stoppage time against América-MG.
Despite the challenging moment, the coaching staff’s support was crucial for his continuation. Soon after, came the consecration with a call-up to the Brazil national team by coach Carlo Ancelotti, along with decisive goals in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
