Internacional has officially sold right-back Braian Aguirre to Rosario Central. The deal is worth around $1.6 million, marking the player’s return to Argentine football.
The transfer market remains active at Beira-Rio. This Wednesday, Internacional’s board finalized the permanent transfer of Argentine Braian Aguirre, who will leave the Rio Grande do Sul club to join Rosario Central.
The transaction concludes the player’s stint in Brazilian football, which began in September 2024.
According to reports, the deal’s value was set at $1.6 million, which is approximately R$8.19 million at the current exchange rate. This amount covers all economic rights that belonged to the Colorado.
Deal details and player’s future
Currently, Internacional and the Argentine club are in the final stages of exchanging bureaucratic documents. In the coming days, 26-year-old Braian Aguirre is expected to arrive in his home country to undergo routine medical examinations before officially signing his contract.
The contract the player will sign with the Rosario team will be valid for three seasons. The player, who arrived in Porto Alegre from Lanús, now seeks to regain his place in the Argentine national scene after his adaptation period in the Brazilian Serie A.
With this departure from the squad, Inter’s coaching staff will need to evaluate the available options for the defensive sector.
