The deal fell through in the final stages when the Russian club announced they were pulling out, citing that the player did not pass routine medical examinations.
With the transfer market closed and no immediate alternatives for a new deal, the board of the Mais Querido decided to reintegrate the athlete immediately. Plata is expected to arrive in Brazil on Friday night (04), when he will report to the training center to resume activities under the guidance of Leonardo Jardim.

Plata’s stay changes the outlook for the Rubro-Negro attack. The club had already moved to fill the void left by the Ecuadorian’s expected departure with the arrival of Anthony Valencia, who will now share the position with the player.
