Paris Saint-Germain has intensified negotiations to sign Palmeiras wonderkid Eduardo Conceição with an offer that could reach the 40 million euro mark.
The European transfer market is once again turning its eyes toward the Palmeiras youth system. PSG, long known for their interest in Brazilian talent, has stepped up their pursuit of forward Eduardo Conceição. At just 16 years old, the player is considered one of the most promising prospects in world football, prompting the French club to prepare a substantial financial offer.
Unlike their initial attempt, when the player was 15 and a 20 million euro bid was rejected, the current approach is far more aggressive. According to the M360 Team, Paris Saint-Germain has signaled figures exceeding 30 million euros, which could reach up to 40 million euros (approximately R$ 234.9 million) depending on contractual performance-based add-ons.
His journey with the Alviverde
Eduardo Conceição‘s story at Allianz Parque began early, at just eight years old, after the youngster shone in the club’s technical trials. Since then, he has passed through every stage of the Alviverde youth system, being developed within the Academia de Futebol.
His progress was so remarkable that in January 2026, Verdão formalized his first professional contract, running until the beginning of 2029. This deal was a key strategic move to protect the player from the constant interest of European giants.
Protection and release clause
To secure their asset, Palmeiras set a release clause of 100 million euros (about R$ 587.2 million) for international transfers. While this value serves as a safety measure, the São Paulo club holds 90% of the forward’s economic rights, guaranteeing a significant share of any future operation.
