Intensity marks Flamengo training at Ninho do Urubu, with full focus on the turnaround against Vitoria.

The week of training at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center was marked by high intensity and an environment of mutual accountability among Flamengo players. While the board has been active in the transfer market looking for reinforcements for the remainder of the season, the squad has been dedicated to activities that simulate real match conditions, seeking to improve performance and regain the fans’ trust following results that fell short of expectations in the Brazilian Serie A.

The sessions led by coach Leonardo Jardim demanded maximum commitment from the athletes, focusing on contested plays and an accelerated pace, signaling rigorous preparation for the upcoming challenges. The general perception was that every training session was approached as if it were an official match.

‘Hot’ training sessions and internal accountability

Since last Monday, activities at Ninho do Urubu have been characterized by a high level of competitiveness. According to reports from the M360 Team, training sessions featured intense battles, with players giving their all as if they were in an official match.

Beyond the intensity on the pitch, internal accountability was a constant factor. The players demanded the best from each other at all times, aiming to correct mistakes and raise the standard of play. Despite the seriousness, the atmosphere within the group remained focused on their common goal. The final session to conclude the week’s cycle took place this Saturday afternoon.

Medical Department and next steps

On a positive note, Flamengo has a nearly empty medical department, which is a relief for the coaching staff. For the decisive clash against Vitoria, only Luiz Araújo is confirmed as out, as he continues to recover from an injury to his left knee.

Players Plata and Paquetá responded well during drills and show signs of being ready to return to the team, bolstering the squad for upcoming fixtures. Flamengo‘s next challenge is this Sunday (09) at 7:30 PM (Brasilia time) at the Maracanã against Vitoria.

The match against Vitoria is viewed by the squad as a turning point, an opportunity to change the club’s course this season and dispel any doubts. The intensity of the training sessions reflects the desire for improvement and the pursuit of consistent performance on the field.

The expectation is that the dedication shown at Ninho do Urubu will translate into a positive result and the beginning of a new chapter for the club.
