Flamengo has advanced in negotiations and finalized the permanent transfer of forward Wallace Yan to RB Bragantino, in a deal that will bring R$ 36.2 million into the club’s coffers.
After months of negotiations and speculation, Wallace Yan‘s future seems set. Flamengo has reached an agreement with RB Bragantino for the transfer of the 21-year-old player. The deal involves the sale of 70% of the athlete’s economic rights for 6 million euros, approximately R$ 36.2 million, with completion expected in the coming days.
Deal details and compensation
As a strategic part of the agreement, the Massa Bruta will also send a youth prospect to Ninho do Urubu. Although specific details and the name of the young athlete have not yet been disclosed, the swap demonstrates that the Rubro-Negro remains focused on renewing its roster with young talents.
It is worth remembering that, in January 2026, the two clubs nearly finalized the deal for a higher amount, around 10 million euros. At that time, disagreements over the payment structure prevented the sale from going through, but talks have now been successfully resumed by the Equipe M360.
Career path and recent performance
The forward, who played a relevant role in the successful 2025 season — participating in the Brazilian Serie A and Libertadores title runs under manager Filipe Luís — found less playing time in 2026. In his last full season for Flamengo, he made 33 appearances, scored seven goals, and provided four assists.
In the current cycle, Wallace Yan has featured in 14 matches, starting only two. The transfer is seen as an opportunity for the player to gain more experience and playing time at RB Bragantino, one of the top clubs for developing talent in Brazilian football.
The departure of Wallace Yan reinforces Flamengo‘s activity in the transfer market, as the club continues to monitor exits and potential reinforcements to maintain a competitive squad for the upcoming challenges of the season.
