Flamengo has definitively ended negotiations with Granada of Spain after deeming the valuation for the signing of the club’s rising star Lorran as insulting.
Flamengo‘s management was emphatic in shutting down discussions with Granada this week. The offer submitted by the Spanish club for the 20-year-old attacking midfielder Lorran was promptly rejected by the Gávea football department.
The club described the terms presented as “insulting” and far removed from the market value Flamengo places on its academy-developed talents.
With negotiations concluded, the number 99 jersey remains with coach Leonardo Jardim‘s squad. The player, who recently returned from a loan spell at Pisa in Italy, is looking to secure consistent playing time in the Brazilian Serie A.
