Flamengo is looking to expand its global brand and has begun discussions with LiveMode to enable free broadcasts of its matches for fans living abroad.

With the goal of strengthening its digital presence and connecting further with the “Nação Rubro-Negra” scattered around the world, Flamengo is working on new media strategies. The club has opened negotiations with LiveMode, a leading company in the sports broadcasting market and the entity responsible for managing CazéTV, aiming to optimize content distribution and the quality of images broadcast internationally.

The initiative is part of a commercial expansion plan. The club believes that, beyond serving fans living outside the country, the partnership with LiveMode could serve as a gateway to attract new foreign fans, increasing the relevance of the Flamengo brand in the global market. The expertise of the partner company, which involves figures such as influencer Casimiro Miguel, is seen by the club’s marketing department as a competitive advantage.

A successful precedent on YouTube

The interest in investing heavily in the digital landscape is not new. During the World Cup break, the club conducted a “test event” by exclusively broadcasting the match against Olimpia (PAR), played in Brasília. The result was a resounding success: more than four million views and approximately 445,000 likes during the six-hour live stream. This case study served as a foundation for Flamengo to understand the engagement potential of its own YouTube broadcasts.

Preparing for the derby

While the board makes moves off the pitch, the squad remains fully focused on the remainder of the Brazilian Serie A. After days of rest, the players led by head coach Leonardo Jardim returned to training this Tuesday (25) at CT Ninho do Urubu. With a free week for adjustments, the coaching staff is working to solidify their playing style before the next official challenge.

Flamengo’s next commitment is the derby against Botafogo, valid for the Brazilian Serie A. The match is scheduled for next Sunday (30) at 4:00 PM (Brasília time) at the Maracanã. Full coverage of the match, featuring the vibrant spirit of the fans, will be provided by the Equipe M360. For those wishing to follow the clash, the official broadcast will be available on Rede Globo, GETV, and the Premiere pay-per-view system.
