Flamengo fans face a significant 150% increase in ticket prices for the decisive Libertadores clash at the Maracanã.
The Libertadores is drawing near, and Flamengo has already set ticket prices for the second leg of the quarterfinals against Independiente del Valle, at the Maracanã. For non-club members, the cheapest entry will cost R$ 300, a significant jump compared to regular matches.
The 150% increase is most noticeable in the North and South sections, where tickets typically cost R$ 120. For this continental showdown, half-price tickets will be R$ 150, with full-price tickets at R$ 300. This R$ 180 hike for the most popular sections reflects the match’s significance and the decisive stage of the tournament.
Ticket Prices and Sections
Ticket prices for the general public vary by section: Upper East (R$ 320 full / R$ 160 half), Lower East (R$ 360 full / R$ 180 half), and Lower West (R$ 400 full / R$ 200 half). The Maracanã Mais box, in the West section, reaches R$ 1,400 (R$ 737.50 half-price), offering services such as food and an open bar.
Benefits for Club Members
In contrast, club members of the Nação program enjoy more accessible prices, which vary by category. For Nação Maraca 1 members, tickets start at R$ 75 (North/South sections). For Nação Maraca 3 members, prices in conventional sections start at R$ 120. The difference for the general public in the Lower West section is R$ 300.
Sales Schedule
Ticket sales have already begun for club members, with staggered access by priority, and will open to the general public at 10 AM on Monday, August 31. Stadium access will be via facial biometrics.
The first leg between Flamengo and Independiente del Valle is scheduled for September 10, in Quito. The decision for a spot in the Libertadores semifinals will take place at the Maracanã one week later, on September 17. Rubro-Negro fans are already aware of the costs to support their team in this final stretch. A full house is expected, despite the high prices.
