Flamengo has issued an official statement vehemently denying any negotiations with Fatal Model and confirmed it will take legal action against the dissemination of false information involving its brand.
Clube de Regatas do Flamengo used its official channels to put an end to speculation about an alleged new main sponsorship. In recent days, reports circulated that the Fatal Model platform had presented a multimillion-dollar offer, in the range of R$ 100 million, to display its brand on the red-and-black jersey, which was promptly dismissed by the club’s board.
Official Statement from the Red-and-Blacks
In a statement released to the press and fans, the Most Beloved labeled the rumors as untrue and expressed surprise at the widespread attention the case received. The club reiterated that it currently has no dialogue or negotiations with the aforementioned company.
The Club clarifies that the information is untrue and that, at this moment, there are no negotiations as reported. Flamengo further warns that its Legal Department is already taking appropriate measures regarding the dissemination of this false information, as well as the publication of images of the Club’s jersey featuring a brand that is not part of its official partners.
Legal Measures and Image Preservation
In addition to denying the rumor, Flamengo demonstrated strictness regarding the improper use of its symbols. The red-and-black leadership condemned the creation of doctored images that display the team’s official uniform with the company’s brand, a practice that infringes on the visual identity and contracts with the club’s current partners.
The statement also emphasized that the institution maintains its commitment to transparency and that any news regarding sponsorships or commercial partnerships will always be communicated exclusively through the team’s official media channels.
With this move, the club seeks to protect its institutional image and prevent the name of Flamengo from being used in speculations that do not align with the current market reality.
