Santos FC aligns with Flamengo in a new commercial partnership, aiming to strengthen its finances through an innovative rewards program for its fans.
The Brazilian football scene has reached a new chapter in its commercial strategy. Santos FC, the traditional club from the Baixada Santista region, has announced a sponsorship agreement with Torcedor Premiado, a platform already featured on the kit of another giant, Flamengo. The initiative promises to inject new financial life into the club’s coffers, in a move that reflects a growing trend of partnerships focused on fan engagement.
The new Torcedor Premiado visual identity will make its debut on the Santos kit in their next match, appearing on the team’s shorts. The initial contract runs until the end of 2027, with the option to extend for an additional five years, signaling a long-term commitment from the company. The collaboration is expected to generate significant revenue, with projections pointing to approximately R$ 50 million, depending directly on the number of new subscribers.
A benefits strategy for the fans
Torcedor Premiado, operated by the company CRMBonus, works on an accessible subscription model. With a nominal fee for the first month, the platform offers fans access to “Vale Bônus”—credits that can be used within a network of commercial partners. The key feature is the value of these credits, which increases with every goal scored by the club in official competitions.
Furthermore, subscribers participate in regular prize draws, with awards totaling over R$ 1 million per month. The company emphasizes that this model is not a betting site, but rather a loyalty and benefits program focused on fostering passion for the club.
Reflecting the Rubro-Negro partnership
Flamengo was the pioneer in joining the Torcedor Premiado program, with the brand appearing on the players’ socks and debuting in major competitions. Santos’ decision to follow the same path demonstrates confidence in the effectiveness of this business model and its potential to attract and retain fans, turning their support into tangible perks.
The clash on the pitch and the competition off it
The commercial deal gains even more prominence due to the coincidence of the match between Flamengo and Santos this Thursday (08), valid for the Brazilian Serie A. While the Rubro-Negro leads the competition with 60 points, looking to extend their lead at the top of the table, Peixe sits in eighth place with 41 points. The match, which will take place at Vila Belmiro, goes beyond deciding three crucial points in the league; it also symbolizes the growing competition between clubs for new revenue streams and greater engagement with their fan bases.
The strategy adopted by Santos FC and Flamengo with Torcedor Premiado could serve as a model for other teams looking to innovate their commercial relationships, strengthening the bond with fans while ensuring financial sustainability in an increasingly competitive landscape.
