Flamengo begins the race for a quarter-final spot in the Libertadores. Check out the details, prices, and mandatory biometric rules for the clash against Cruzeiro.
The atmosphere of a decisive match has already taken over Gávea. Flamengo has officially opened the ticket sales process for the anticipated showdown against Cruzeiro, valid for the second leg of the round of 16 in the Libertadores. The match, which promises to bring Rio de Janeiro to a standstill, will take place on August 19th at 9:30 PM, at the iconic Maracanã stadium.
With the dream of a continental title at stake, the Rubro-Negra Nation is preparing to fill the stadium and push the team towards qualification. The club’s management emphasizes that, due to the importance of the match and the expectation of a full house, it is crucial for fans to act early and pay attention to official sales channels and access requirements.
Sales Schedule and Biometric Access
The ticket sales schedule follows a staggered model. Since July 15th, priority access has been exclusive to members of the Nação fan program. For the general public, official sales will open on August 3rd, starting at 10 AM, through the club’s official website.
It is important to highlight that the Maracanã requires facial biometrics for access. Therefore, prior registration on the platform is mandatory for all fans.
“Safety and speed in entry flow are priorities for the club, which is why biometrics is an indispensable requirement for everyone present on this glorious night,” emphasizes the Rubro-Negro management.
Ticket Prices and Sections
Prices vary according to the chosen section and membership plan. For members in popular sections, prices start at R$50. For the general public, the Maracanã Mais section reaches R$1,000 (full price). In the North and South sections, designated for Flamengo fans, the full ticket costs R$200, with a half-price option for R$100.
Cruzeiro fans, who will occupy the South section, will also have to purchase their tickets through FutebolCard and follow the same biometric rules required by the stadium, with tickets priced at R$200 (full price) and R$100 (half price).
The match against the team from Minas Gerais is the moment to reaffirm the squad’s strength in international competitions. With the power of the stands, Flamengo seeks to solidify its journey in the Libertadores and ensure its continued pursuit of the continent’s most coveted trophy. The recommendation is clear: don’t leave it to the last minute and secure your spot in this battle of “Raza, Amor e Paixão” (Grit, Love, and Passion).
