Grêmio confirms the delivery of its exclusive Training Center for Women’s Soccer on September 28, a milestone of investment in the sport and infrastructure for the Mosqueteiras.
Grêmio has formalized an important step for the development of its women’s soccer program: the inauguration of an exclusive Training Center for its athletes.
The confirmation was made by the vice-president of the Board of Directors, Antonio Dutra Junior, during the National Women’s Soccer Meeting, held at the club’s Arena.
The scheduled date for the delivery of this new space is September 28, promising to revolutionize the routine of the Mosqueteiras with complete and modern infrastructure.
This investment reinforces the commitment of the Porto Alegre-based club to the enhancement and professionalization of the sport on the national stage.
Investment and Strategic Location
Since July, Grêmio has been working intensively on the construction of the RGM Academy, located in Gravataí, to adapt the site to the specific needs of the women’s squad.
The club has allocated an investment of approximately R$ 600,000, focused on the acquisition of state-of-the-art furniture and equipment, aiming to provide high-level infrastructure for the training and development of the athletes.
Top-Tier Infrastructure for Athletes
The new Training Center will feature comprehensive resources to meet all the sporting and personal demands of the players.
There will be one natural grass field and two artificial turf fields, in addition to a sand court for specific training.
The indoor area will include eight dormitories equipped with private bathrooms, leisure and study rooms, a laundry room, locker rooms, and a kit room.
In addition to the sports facilities, the complex will house a complete medical department, nutrition, psychology, and social assistance rooms, essential for the athletes’ comprehensive support.
There will also be an administrative sector, storage, a room for the coaching staff, a modern gym, a physical therapy room, a cafeteria, a kitchen, and an auditorium, providing a professional and welcoming environment.
Long-Term Partnership
The collaboration with RGM Academy, a venture by former players Marcelo Grohe and Rodrigo Galatto, is established for an initial period of six years, with a renewal provision.
Grêmio will use the facilities upon payment of rent, a model similar to what the club currently adopts with Ulbra for other categories.
The inauguration of this exclusive Training Center represents a significant milestone not only for Grêmio but for Brazilian women’s soccer, demonstrating a growing commitment to the sport.
The new infrastructure will ensure ideal conditions for the technical and physical improvement of the Mosqueteiras, directly impacting the team’s performance and the attraction of new talent.
