The Brazil U-17 national team is in the final stretch of its preparation in Doha, with full focus on its debut against Honduras in the U-17 World Cup.

The quest for a fifth world title has begun intensely for the Brazil U-17 national team. On Qatari soil, the team, led by coach Carlos Eduardo Patetuci, is maintaining a rigorous schedule of two-a-day training sessions, aiming to fine-tune the final tactical and physical details before the tournament’s kickoff.

This Thursday (30), the squad split its activities between the gym in the morning and a technical ball training session in the afternoon, held at Al Ersal Stadium. The coaching staff’s main focus has been movement in reduced spaces, essential for instilling the characteristic intensity of Brazilian youth categories.

Tactical Adjustments for the Debut

During the training sessions, Patetuci prioritized strengthening strategic concepts to ensure the squad reaches peak performance for the first challenge. Expectations are high, as Brazil carries the weight and tradition of four world titles won in 1997, 1999, 2003, and 2019.

“The work has been intense to ensure the team is prepared for the demands of the World Cup,” the coaching staff emphasized during preparations. The discipline shown by the athletes reflects their commitment to honoring the ‘Canarinho’ jersey in another edition of the competition.

Path to the Title

The debut match against Honduras is scheduled for November 4, at 9:30 AM (Brasília time). The venue for the clash will be the modern Aspire Zone sports complex in Doha, a location that will serve as the base for Brazil’s ambitions in this edition of the tournament.

The preparation doesn’t stop there. After a day of intense work, the players return to the fields this Friday (31), maintaining the two-a-day training schedule. With the goal of winning a fifth title, the Brazil national team remains focused and determined for the start of its journey in the U-17 World Cup.
