Partnership covers the next two editions of the competition and expands the company’s presence in Brazilian women’s sports

The Brasil Ladies Cup has announced Petrobras as its new sponsor and the holder of the competition’s naming rights. The agreement will span two editions and marks the company’s entry into the project, reinforcing the commercial and institutional growth of Brazilian women’s football. A mutual understanding of the sport’s potential and aligned goals were key factors in finalizing the partnership.

Petrobras will be associated with the next two editions of the Brasil Ladies Cup, expanding its footprint in Brazilian women’s sports and contributing to the project’s development throughout that period. The partnership also opens up possibilities for new commercial activations, digital initiatives, and experiences tailored to the competition’s audience.

“The arrival of Petrobras represents a very important step for the Brasil Ladies Cup. Having the company’s brand associated with the tournament reinforces the credibility of the project and shows that women’s football is gaining increasing strategic relevance within the Brazilian sports market,” said Fábio Wolff, a member of the competition’s organizing committee.

The structural planning for future editions will follow the same standard adopted in recent seasons, maintaining a focus on organization, professionalism, and operational quality. The agreement also provides for the expansion of activations, content, fan experiences, and social initiatives linked to the development of women’s football in the country. The expectation is that the partnership will help boost the market for the sport, attracting new brands and strengthening the standing that women’s football has achieved in recent years.

The sixth edition of the Brasil Ladies Cup was held from July 9 to 12 at the Brinco de Ouro Stadium in Campinas, featuring Palmeiras, Flamengo, the Paraguay national team, and Uruguay’s Peñarol. In the final, Palmeiras defeated Flamengo 3-1 to win their second consecutive title.

Beyond the sporting results, the tournament concluded the edition with significant audience and attendance figures: 1.366 million people were reached via streaming—the largest audience in the history of the Brasil Ladies Cup—while the final drew 1,821 fans to the stadium. The event also featured 11 sponsoring brands, two more than the previous year, highlighting the project’s commercial evolution and the expansion trend leading into the next two editions.
