We expected a very difficult match, both because of the opponent’s quality and the altitude. However, our team fought hard from the first to the last minute. We knew we had to stay focused throughout the entire game, so the group deserves credit for the result we achieved.
The defender added to his assessment by highlighting the need for total focus for the remainder of the season.
As I said, playing here in the altitude is always complicated, but we couldn’t use that as an excuse because we are the ones on the pitch defending this jersey. Despite everything, we tried to give our best and we are very happy with this positive victory. Now the focus is on resting, as there are many games ahead.

Beyond his collective importance, Ayrton Lucas delivered impressive numbers on the pitch.
