Amidst the final stretch of the Brazilian football transfer window, which closes this Friday, Clube do Remo, known for its intense market activity, has experienced a notable period of inactivity. For nearly a month, the club from Pará has not announced a new name to bolster its squad, raising questions about its strategy for the remainder of the season.
The team, which stood out as one of the most active in signing players for the 2026 Serie A, with 29 announcements according to M360 data, seems to have hit the brakes. The last addition to the squad was forward Galeano, who arrived from Mirassol and was officially announced on August 13, marking the end of a series of arrivals at the club.
End of Window and Few Recent Additions
As the second transfer window, the final deadline for top-tier clubs to reinforce their squads with players from other teams, approaches its close, Remo finds itself in a period of calm. In this recent cycle of signings, only five athletes were integrated: defenders Matheus Felipe and Zé Ivaldo, left-back Marlon, defensive midfielder Edson Fernando, and Paraguayan forward Galeano.

Despite the high volume of signings throughout the season, not all reinforcements have managed to establish themselves or address the squad’s needs, as the team currently occupies the 19th position in Serie A.
