Flamengo’s impressive 5-1 victory over Mirassol this Sunday (16) in the São Paulo countryside not only secured three important points in the Brazilian Serie A but also provided a significant boost in squad confidence.
Striker Pedro, who scored two goals in the match, highlighted the result’s importance for the team’s preparation ahead of the crucial Copa Libertadores clash against Cruzeiro.

According to the center-forward, the group’s mindset was clear: secure an away victory and close in on the league leaders.
Pedro’s performance was crucial in building the dominant scoreline. Although he saw little action in the first half, the striker stood out in the second half, scoring the third and fourth goals for the Rubro-Negro, assisted by Ayrton Lucas and Carrascal, respectively.
