FIA Business School and the Brazilian Olympic Committee announced a strategic partnership at COB Expo 2026 to transform sports management and empower new national sports leaders focusing on excellence and innovation.
FIA Business School and the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) announced on Thursday, October 1st, a strategic partnership focused on sports education and the development of directors, managers, and professionals connected to the sector.
The initiative was officially presented during COB Expo 2026 in São Paulo, marking a significant advancement for sports management in the country.
This pioneering agreement is born with a robust proposal that goes far beyond simply offering courses. The initiative aims to combine COB‘s vast knowledge of the Olympic Movement with FIA‘s recognized excellence in vital areas such as strategy, governance, marketing, finance, and technology applied to Brazilian sports.
Innovation and Training in Sports Management
The core objective is to actively contribute to the development of leaders and organizations that are increasingly prepared for the challenges of market innovation and transformation.
The collaboration brings FIA Business School‘s academic experience closer to the real demands of the Team Brazil ecosystem.
Eduardo Savarese Neto stated:
“The partnership with COB allows us to bring FIA’s academic and executive expertise closer to the concrete demands of Brazilian sports. We want to build a long-term initiative capable of supporting the training of directors and managers and contributing to organizations that are increasingly prepared for the challenges of management, innovation, and sector transformation”
The partnership provides for the creation of a complete educational portfolio, with courses in different formats scheduled to begin in January 2027. The target audience ranges from confederation leaders to coaches and executives seeking professional enhancement.
Vision for the Future of National Sports
Sebastian Pereira declared:
“The partnership between the Brazilian Olympic Institute and FIA represents a milestone in our Committee’s education strategy. By uniting the inside knowledge of the Olympic Movement with the academic rigor of one of the country’s leading business schools, we are building an unprecedented bridge between high performance and professional training of excellence. Our goal goes beyond preparing our athletes: we want to train the team behind the podium — the managers, coaches, scientists, and specialists who sustain Brazilian sports. With this portfolio, we open the doors of the Olympic Movement to everyone who wishes to train and contribute to an increasingly modern, safe, and winning sport. And thus, increasingly building a Sporting Nation”
The official launch during COB Expo 2026 consolidated the beginning of a joint agenda for content and mini-lectures. Following the event, the initiative enters the curriculum structuring phase based on real market needs.
The union between FIA Business School and the Brazilian Olympic Committee projects a highly professionalized future for the sports sector.
With the first courses scheduled for early 2027, the initiative promises to raise the standard of governance and leadership training, paving the way for a more modern and globally competitive Sporting Nation.
