Corinthians announced on Tuesday afternoon that all tickets for the return leg of the Libertadores quarter-finals have been reserved by members of the Fiel Torcedor loyalty program. A crowd near the stadium’s full capacity is expected to support the team in their quest for qualification.
The club noted that while the reservations confirm high demand, they do not guarantee immediate purchase. Should there be any cancellations or payment failures by members, any remaining tickets will return to the system exclusively through the official Fiel Torcedor platform, maintaining strict control over stadium access.
Stadium capacity increased for knockout stage
For this decisive encounter, Timão made strategic adjustments to the Neo Química Arena infrastructure. By removing seats in the South sector, the club expanded its total capacity to 50,582 spectators.
However, the sales limit for the match against Estudiantes was set at 49,984 tickets. This slight reduction is a direct result of CONMEBOL safety regulations, which require a buffer zone to ensure proper separation between the home supporters and the visiting Argentine fans.
The stage is set
Led by head coach Fernando Diniz, the team takes the field needing a win to secure a direct path to the continental semi-finals. Since the first leg in La Plata ended in a 1-1 draw, the away goals rule is not in effect.
