Forward Everton Cebolinha will no longer wear the Flamengo jersey. After being granted leave by the club to attend to “personal matters,” journalist Raisa Simplício has learned that the player is in advanced negotiations with Krasnodar, from Russia. The trend is towards a positive outcome in the coming hours, with the Russian club solidifying as the most likely destination for the athlete.
Flamengo‘s decision to release the player comes at a crucial moment, as his contract with the Rubro-Negro is nearing its end. This scenario favors a swift agreement between the parties, serving the interests of both Cebolinha and the Rio de Janeiro club.

In the current season, Cebolinha participated in 25 matches and scored three goals for Flamengo. His statistics reflect a decrease in his prominence in Leonardo Jardim’s squad, although he was still considered an option in attack.
